Kultūrvides pieejamības nodrošināšana: iekļaujošs pieredzes dizains neredzīgiem un vājredzīgiem cilvēkiem

Abstract

Diplomdarbā „Kultūrvides pieejamības nodrošināšana: iekļaujošs pieredzes dizains neredzīgiem un vājredzīgiem cilvēkiem” autore pēta iekļaujošas pieredzes dizaina un pieejamības mijiedarbību muzeju un izstāžu telpu kontekstā, jo īpaši, tādu stratēģiju izstrādē un īstenošanā, lai padarītu kultūras vidi saistošāku, viesmīlīgāku un pieejamāku tiem, kam ir dažādas pakāpes redzes traucējumi. Izvirzot, kā prioritāti neredzīgo un vājredzīgo apmeklētāju vajadzības un intereses, autore tiecas veicināt plašāku dialogu par kultūrvides pieejamību un sociālo iekļaušanu. Empīriskajā daļā autore veic intervijas, lai uzzinātu par neredzīgo un vājredzīgo cilvēku, pieejamības speciālistu, muzeju kuratoru un dizaineru pieredzi, grūtībām un vēlmēm, sadarbojas ar viņiem. Iekļaujoša dizaina programmu neredzīgajiem un vājredzīgajiem izpēte muzejos Latvijā un citviet pasaulē, lai iegūtu zināšanas un precīzi noteiktu optimālās pieejas. Uz iegūtas informācijas un secinājumu pamata autore izstrādāja Interjera projektu un vizualizāciju izmantojot datorgrafikas programmas: ArchiCad, Dialux, Adobe Illustrator.

In the diplomat work “ensuring availability of cultural environment inclusive experience Design for blind and visually impaired People” author explores interaction of design and accessibility of inclusive experiences in the context of museums and exhibition spaces, in particular, developing and implementing strategies to make the cultural environment more engaging, hospitable and accessible to those with varying degrees of visual impairment. By prioritising the needs and interests of blind and visually impaired visitors, the author seeks to promote a broader dialogue on accessibility and social inclusion of the cultural environment. In the empirical part, the author conducts interviews and surveys to learn about, collaborate with, the experiences, difficulties and desires of blind and visually impaired people, accessibility specialists, museum curators and designers. Research of inclusive design programmes for the blind and the visually impaired in museums in Latvia and elsewhere in the world in order to acquire knowledge and accurately identify optimal approaches. Based on acquired information and conclusions, the author developed the Interior project and visualization using computer graphics programs: ArchiCAD, DIALux, Adobe Illustrator.
