Abstract
Pasaulē un Latvijā pieaug saslimstība ar 2. tipa diabētu un diabēta medikamentu patēriņš. Darba mērķis bija noskaidrot 2. tipa diabēta recepšu medikamentu patēriņu laika periodā no 2011. līdz 2013. gadam „Tilžas aptiekā” un uzzināt par aptiekas apmeklētāju informētību par 2. tipa cukura diabētu.
Visbiežāk izrakstītais medikaments „Tilžas aptiekā” 2011. un 2012. gadā bija „Metforal 1000 mg”, bet 2013. gadā - „Glucophage 1000 mg”, kas ir metformīnu saturoši medikamenti. Lielākais pacientu skaits periodā no 2011. līdz 2013. gadam bija vecuma grupā no 81 – 90 gadiem.
Aptaujas rezultāti liecina, ka 70 % respondentu zina, ka 2. tipa cukura diabēts ir dzīves laikā iegūta slimība.
Atslēgvārdi: otrā tipa cukura diabēts, hipoglikēmiskās vielas, pretdiabēta recepšu medikamentu patēriņš aptiekā.
The morbidity with type 2 diabetes mellitus and the consumption of medicine used to treat the disease have been increasing in the world as well as in Latvia. The aim of the work was to find out the consumption of medicine for the desease in the period from 2011 till 2013 in „Tilza pharmacy” as well as to study customers awareness about type 2 diabetes mellitus. The most frequently prescribed medicine in „Tilza pharmacy” in the time period from 2011 till 2012 was „Metforal 1000 mg”; however, in 2013 it was „Glucophage 1000 mg”, both of which are containing metformin. The highest pacients number in the period from 2011 till 2013 was in the age group of 80-90 years. According to the questionnaire, 70 per cent of respondents are aware of the fact that type 2 diabetes is a desease procured in the lifetime.
