Mītiskais un harizmātiskais politiķa Ivara Godmaņa personībā: portretinterviju analīze

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs „Mītiskais un harizmātiskais politiķa Ivara Godmaņa personībā: portretinterviju analīze” noskaidro to, kādi mīti tiek kultivēti masu medijos par politiķi Ivaru Godmani, kā tie tiek konstruēti, kā izpaužas Ivara Godmaņa harizma un kā sociālais konteksts ietekmē Ivara Godmaņa intervijās atveidoto personību dažādos laika posmos. Tēmu aktuālu padara tas, ka Ivars Godmanis aktīvi darbojies Latvijas politikā jau kopš valsts neatkarības atjaunošanas. Allaž atrodoties tuvu varai, izpelnījies gan slavējumus, gan nopēlumus, ir ticis salīdzināts ar tautas varoni un tās izsaimniekotāju. Politiķis joprojām aktīvi piedalās valsts politiskās vides veidošanā, un mītiskā bagāža nāk viņam līdzi. Cik autore ir izzinājusi, mītiskā izpēte mūsdienu Latvijas politiķu personībās nav plaši pētīts lauks, tāpēc tas paver iespējas interesantiem secinājumiem. Teorētiskajā daļā atrodams akadēmisks literatūras analizējums par sistēmtransformāciju, konsolidētu demokrātiju, politisko mītu un harizmu, saistībā ar politisko līderību. Savukārt kā darba pētniecības metodes ir izmantotas un darbā arī aprakstītas kritiskā diskursa analīze, īpaši Normena Feirklafa kritiskā diskursa analīzes koncepcija un rāmējuma analīze. Darba noslēgumā autore secinājusi, ka politiķis, kurš uzsāka savu karjeru sistēmtransformācijas laikā, ar savu personību saistītos mītus sākotnēji veidojis drīzāk autoritatīvus. Demokrātijai pakāpeniski nostiprinoties, autoritatīvais komunikācijas veids kļuva arvien nepieņemamāks un galu galā jau konsolidētas demokrātijas apstākļos žurnālisti ar spēcīgas kontra diskursivitātes palīdzību šos autoritatīvos mītus sāka spēcīgi kritizēt un izaicināt. I. Godmaņa harizma, lai gan nevienā intervijā šādā vārdā nenosaukta, meklējama tieši viņa personības mistifikācijā, piedēvējot viņam gluži vai pārdabiskas īpašības gan valsts pārvaldīšanas, gan personīgo rakstura īpašību un spēju ziņā.

The bachelor thesis “Myths and Charisma of the Personality of Politician Ivars Godmanis: Analysis of Deep Interviews” clarifies, what kind of myths are disseminated though the mass media about politician Ivars Godmanis, how are they constructed, how does his charisma become apparent and how the social context influences his personality in different time periods. This issue is topical because Ivars Godmanis has been an activist of the Latvian politics since the renewal of the independency of Latvia. He has always been close to the power, this is why he has earned appreciations and condemnations, has been compared to the hero of the nation and as well to the enemy of the nation. The politician is still active in the politics of Latvia, and the baggage, full of myths, is coming with him. As far as the author knows, research of the myths of Latvian politicians is not a wide researched issue, which guarantees interesting and unexpected conclusions. The theoretical part of the thesis consists from the analysis of academic literature about the transition, consolidated democracy, political myths and charisma, in connection with the leadership. Research methods, which are used in the bachelor thesis, are critical discourse analysis and the frame analysis. In the conclusion of the paper, the author has come to conclusion that the politician, who started his career in the time of transition, in his former time was generating myths in an authoritative way. As the democracy was developing its quality, the authoritative way of communication started to be unaccepted. And in the end, the journalists of consolidated democracy with strong contra discourses started to criticize and challenge these myths. The charisma of Ivars Godmanis is finding itself in the mystification of the personality. The qualities, attributed to the politician, where almost supernatural.
