Sieviešu raksturi Džordža Bernarda Šova lugās

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā „Sieviešu raksturi Džordža Bernarda Šova lugās” tiek pētīta unikāla sieviešu raksturu kolekcija šī dramaturga lugās. Autorei bija interesanti iepazīt jaunu drāmas formu un atklāt tās īpatnības. Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt sieviešu raksturus Šova drāmā. Pētījumā tiek analizēti sieviešu raksturi un pierādīts, ka Šova lugās risinātās tēmas ir aktuālas. Pirmajā daļā tiek pētīta Šova priekšteču drāma: Henrika Ibsena un Antona Čehova drāmas īpatnības, kā arī ir zināmas Bernarda Šova lugu galvenās tēmas. Otrā daļā analizēti sieviešu raksturi Šova lugās, kā arī to daudzveidība. Darbā tika pierādīts, ka Šova lugās attēlotajiem sieviešu raksturiem bija prototipi dzīvē. Problēmas, kas ir risinātas Šova lugās vēl joprojām ir aktuālas.

The Bachelor thesis “Women characters in George Bernard Shaw’s plays” investigates the unique collection of women characters in this playwright’s works. As well as the representing of new form of drama it is interesting to study and to see the peculiarities of this drama. The purpose of the research is to investigate women characters of Shaw’s drama. This research is done in order to see the reality of the depicted characters and to prove that themes discussed in Shaw’s plays are up-to-date. In the first part the predecessors of B.Shaw’s drama are investigated: the peculiarities of Henrik Ibsen’s and Anton Chekhov’s’ drama as well as the major themes of Shaw’s plays are settled. The second part contains the analysis of women characters from the plays and their identifying. By the examples of real women it is proved that Shaw’s women characters have basis in reality. The problems discussed in Shaw’s plays are still of current interest.
