Tetovēšanas tradīcija Ķīnas vēsturē

Abstract

Šī bakalaura darba nosaukums ir „Tetovēšanas tradīcija Ķīnas vēsturē”. Tetovēšanas tradīcijai ir sena vēsture. Ķīnas teritoriju apdzīvojošās tautas jau kopš senatnes izmantoja tetovēšanu dažādiem nolūkiem – kā aizsargu no ļaunajiem gariem, kā dekoru, kā soda veidu, kā atpazīšanas zīmi un zvēresta nodošanai. Izpētītas arī mūsdienu Ķīnas mazākumtautību tetovēšanas tradīcijas. Darba mērķis ir seno Ķīnas tautu un mūsdienu Ķīnas mazākumtautību tradīciju un tetovēšanas iemeslu izpēte, kā arī iedziļināšanās tetovēšanas vēstures pirmsākumos. Darba galvenie jautājumi ir: Kādēļ haņ ķīniešu attieksme pret tetovēšanu senatnē bija tik noraidoša? Kādi bija tetovēšanas iemesli gan haņ ķīniešiem, gan mazākumtautībām senatnē? Kādi iemesli ir mūsdienu Ķīnas mazākumtautību tetovēšanas paražai? Darba gaitā tika noskaidrots, ka Senās Ķīnas haņ ķīniešu un tā saucamo „barbaru” dzīves uztvere bija ļoti atšķirīga, tādēļ atšķirīga bija arī tetovēšanas mākslas uztvere. Haņ ķīniešu konfuciāniskā domāšana lika viņiem ar cieņu attiekties pret vecāku dotu ķermeni. Turpretī barbaru tautas vadījās pēc mitoloģijas un totēmisma principiem. Darbs sastāv no 3 daļām: „Tetovējums kā sociāla vēstule”, kur tiek apskatīta tetovējumu vēsture pasaulē un ādu kā saziņas veidu; „Tetovējumi Ķīnas senajos tekstos”, kur ir apskatīti literārie darbi, kuros ir pieminēta tetovēšana; un „Mūsdienu Ķīnas mazākumtautības tetovējumi”, kur tiek stāstīts par derunu, dai un li tautu tetovēšanas tradīcijām. Darba apjoms ir 46 lpp.

Title of this bachelor’s paper is „Tradition of tattooing in the history of China”. Tradition of tattooing has long history. Peoples living on the teritory of China, used tattooing for different purposes: as a guard against demons, as a decor, as means of punishment, as the recognition sign and as oath. In this paper tattooing traditions of nowadays China national minorities have been researchet as well. The aim of this work is to study the reasons for tattoo practicing among ancient peoples of China and nowadays Chinese national minorities. The main questions are: Why was the han-Chinese attitude towards tattooing so negative? What were the reasons for making tattoos among ancient Chinese peoples and what are the reasons of nowadays minority tattooing? During the research author has found out that han Chinese and so-called „barbarian” life perception was very different, that is why their attitude towards tattoing was so different as well. Han-Chinese confucian model of thinking didn’t let them to modificate body, which they got from their parents. Barbarian tribes believed in their own legends and followed totemism principles. This paper consists of 3 chapters: „Tattoo as social message”, where you can read about the worldwide history of tattoo and about the skin as the mean of communication; „Tattoo in the ancient chinese text”, where literary works mentioning tattooing are observed and „Tattooos of modern China national minorities”, where the research about derung, dai and li minorities could be found. Total size of this bachelor paper is 46 pages.
