Abstract
Bakalaura darba tēma ir "Ārzemju tūristi par Rīgas autentiskumu". Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot ārzemju tūristu viedokli par autentiskumu Rīgā.
Teorētiskajā daļā ir izmantoti dažādu autoru darbi, lai no teorētiskās perspektīvas raksturotu pilsētu, tūrismu, tūristu un autentiskumu. Pētnieciskajā daļā tika izmantotas gan kvantitatīva pētniecības metode (83 ārzemju tūristu aptauja), gan arī kvalitatīva metode (5 daļēji strukturētas intervijas).
Rezultātā noskaidrojās, ka ārzemju tūristi vairumā gadījumu par autentisku uzskata Rīgas pilsētas arhitektūru.
Rezultātā pētījuma hipotēze apstiprinājās, kas parāda, ka uz ārzemju tūristu viedokli lielu iespaidu atstāj tieši iepriekš zināmais par Rīgu un tās unikālajām vietām.

The theme of the bachelor’s thesis is „Foreign tourists about the authenticity of Riga”. The goal of the research was to find out the opinion of foreign tourists about the authenticity of Riga. In the theoretical framework the work of different authors is used, so that terms city, tourism, tourist and authenticity could be defined from a theoretical perspective. In the paper there is used both quantitative (83 tourists survey) and qualitative (5 semi-structured interviews) research methods. Using both methods the author was able to get detailed information of what tourists think is authenticity and what is authentic in Riga. The hypothesis of the research paper was confirmed. It shows that the already known of Riga is what affects the opinion of foreign tourists. Key words: Riga, city, tourism, autheticity
