Abstract
Cooperation is a very significant skill, which promotes both learning and well-being. This skill is being developed already in pre-school, where children spend most of their time together with other children who are the same age, interests and skills. The outdoor environment is one of the aspects where there are possibilities to research, experiment and develop, these aspects can further promote children’s creativity, communication skills, physical activity and other skills. The aim of the qualification paper is to explore 3-4 years old children’s cooperation in outdoor environment, by identifying tasks and skills that promote that cooperation. To achieve this goal the author analyzed sources of literature, questioned parents and observed children participating in five different outdoor activities to notice their skills. There were pair and group activities, as well as some activities with teacher’s assistance. Conclusions emphasize that outdoor activities promote different skills which will be developed further by the author of the paper. Another conclusion shows that to make children’s cooperation more favorable, tasks and surrounding is very significant.
