Tīmekļa vietnes analīzes rīki

Abstract

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir iepazīties ar tīmekļa vietnes analīzes rīku piedāvātajām iespējām, noteikt rīku pielietojumu dažādos gadījumos un izpētīt to popularitāti Latvijā un ārpus Latvijas teritorijas. Daudzi informācijas tehnoloģijas speciālisti, kas strādā reālajos projektos, ieskaitot darba autoru, sastopas ar tīmekļa vietnes analīzes nepieciešamību. Parasti šim nolūkam izmanto vienu no pieejamiem rīkiem. Piemēram, darba autors savā ikdienas darbā izmanto Google Analytics rīku, lai analizētu tīmekļa vietni. Pamatoties uz personīgo pieredzi, darba autors veica rīku salīdzinājumu un to pielietošanas sfēras identificēšanu. Par galveno bakalaura darba rezultātu var uzskatīt to, ka darba noslēdzošā daļā ir paplašināta viena tīmekļa vietnes analīzes rīka, t.i. Piwik, funkcionalitāte.

The aim of the bachelor thesis was to investigate possibilities of the better known website analysis tools, to determine their use in different cases, and to estimate the popularity of the concrete tools in Latvia and other countries. Many of the information technology specialists working on the real projects including the author of this work, are faced with the necessity of the website analysis. For this purpose one of the available tools is usually used. For example, the author of bachelor thesis uses Google Analytics tool in his routine work to analyze websites. The comparison of the functionality of the different tools and identification of their fields of application was performed based on the personal work experience of the author of this work. The main result of the current bachelor thesis is that in the end of this study the functionality of one of the website analysis tools, e.g. Piwik, was expanded.
