CIK LIELĀ MĒRĀ SKOLAS ADMINISTRĀCIJA IETEKMĒ IZGLĪTĪBAS KVALITĀTI AR INFORMĀCIJAS UN KOMUNIKĀCIJAS TEHNOLOĢIJU PALĪDZĪBU

Abstract

Darba mērķis ir izpētīt un noskaidrot, kā skolas vadība, administratīvie darbinieki un atbildīgie par informācijas tehnoloģiju izmantošanu nodrošina IKT prasmju apmācību un mācīšanas procesu darbiniekiem, atbilstošo tehnoloģiju izmantošanas un lietošanas kultūras nodrošināšanai. Pētījumā izmantotas kvalitatīvas un kvantitatīvas metodes, intervēti 5 attiecīgo jomu administratīvie darbinieki un 70 skolotājiem lūgts skaidrot IKT izmantošanas un lietošanas kultūru ikdienā. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka skolas direktors kopā ar atbildīgo IT personu un dažiem administratīvās jomas darbiniekiem atbild par IKT funkcijām, to izmantošanu atbilstoši viņu spējām un prasmēm šajā jomā. Turklāt darbiniekiem būtu nepieciešama papildus apmācība un atbalsts ikdienas IKT izmantošanā un lietošanas kultūrā , to efektīvākai izmantošanai.

The purpose of this study is to examine the dissemination of technology leadership in school and the role of school administrators, mainly technology coordinators and principals, in ensuring suitable technology culture that facilitates integrating ICT in teaching and learning process. A study case adopted mixed method by interviewing 5 administrators and asking 70 teachers to investigate the outlook of technology culture in the school. Result indicates that technology leadership, delegated by the school principal, is mainly held by technology coordinator along with some technology functions of other administrators in the limit of their technology skills. Furthermore, technology culture lacks from reward and incentives as well as the commitment, support and willingness that impose participants to integrate effectively the ICT.
