Sociālā drošība darbiniekiem un pašnodarbinātām personām Eiropas Savienības tiesībās

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā - Sociālā drošība darbiniekiem un pašnodarbinātajām personām Eiropas Savienības tiesībās - darba autore sniedz ieskatu par sociālās drošības tiesību pieejamību darbiniekiem un pašnodarbinātajām personām un, vai izmatojot Eiropas Savienības (turpmāk ES) brīvas pārvietošanās tiesības šīm personām - tiek nodrošināta sociālā drošība. Darbā ir analizēts sociālās drošības regulējums ES tiesībās gan primārajos, gan sekundārajos tiesību aktos. Darba autore ir pētījusi sociālās drošības principus ES, balstoties uz kuriem, ir izstrādāta ES sociālās drošības sistēma. Gūstot priekšstatu par ES sociālās drošības regulējumu darba autore ir analizējusi ES sociālās drošības tiesību piemērošanas problēmas Latvijā. Pētījuma rezultātā autore secina, ka ES kompetence sociālās drošības jomā ir galveno sociālās drošības principu noteikšana, kuru ievērošana ir jānodrošina ES dalībvalstīm, lai personas varētu realizēt savas tiesības uz pārvietošanās brīvību, nezaudējot tiesības

In the Bachelor’s paper – Social security for the Workers and Self-employed Persons in European Union rights – Author of the paper gives insight into the accessibility of the social security rights to employees and self-employed persons and determine whether social security is granted to those persons when they are exercising their rights to the freedom of movement provided by the European Union (hereinafter - EU). Paper analysis social security regulation in EU rights in both the primary and secondary legislation. Author of the paper have investigated EU social security principles that form basis of the EU social security system. By acquiring idea about the regulation of the EU social security, Author of the paper have analysed problems related to the application of the EU social security rights in Latvia. As a study result Author concludes that determination of the main social security principles is the competency of EU in terms of social security and EU member
