Abstract
Darbā ir apskatīta hipoglikēmisko līdzekļu pieejamība 2011. gadā gan aprites,
gan no pacientam pieejamās informācijas. Gan cukura diabēta izplatība Latvijā un
pasaulē, gan pretdiabētu līdzekļu paterīņš pieaug. Darbā ir analizēti trīs grupu
medikamanti: biguanīdi, sulfaniurīnvielas atvasinajumi un tiazolidīndioni.
Darba mērķis: iepazīties ar hipoglikēmisku medikamentu izmantošanas
iespējām un izvērtēt 2011.gadā to pieejamību Rīgā.
Tika izpētīta literatūra par cukura diabētu un hipoglikēmiskiem līdzekļiem.
Veiktā analīzne parādija, ka termonoloģija lietošanas instrukcijās atšķiras, katrs
ražotājs izmanto savu terminoloģiju, skaidrojot vienu un to pašu terminu.
Vispārdotākā hipoglikēmisko medikamentu aktīvās vielas metformīns preparātiem
arī atšķirības terminos, pārdošanas cenās un daudzumuos.

Nowadays the amount of diabetics is growing in Latvia and in the world with each passing year. This study is made to evaluate the availability of antidiabetic drug what is reimbursed for Latvian citizens in 2011. Results of the study testify that availability of the antidiabetic drugs were not so good as it seem. People could buy the drugs in the pharmacies. The back side of availability was terminology of indications, contraindications and side effects. Each manufacturer uses its own terminology, the interpretation of the same term, it is desirable to equal terminology description of all drugs to have an identical period and make it easier for people to understand it. The most popular antidiabetic drug in Latvia 2010 and Kengaraga pharmacy in 2011 was metformin.
