Rīgas Stila un modes tehnikuma audzēkņu profesionālās izvēles un karjeras veidošanās

Abstract

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt, vai profesionālās izglītības audzēkņiem ir problēmas atrast prakses un darba vietas konkrētajā profesijā, kā arī izpētīt kā dažādi faktori ietekmē profesijas izvēli audzēkņu vidū. Bakalaura darba teorētiskais pamats sastāv no kredenciālisma, cilvēkkapitāla un sociālā kapitāla teorijām, ka arī iepriekš veiktajiem pētījumiem profesionālās izglītības jomā. Darba gaitā autore veica 10 daļēji strukturētas intervijas ar Rīgas Stila un modes tehnikuma audzēkņiem. Rezultātā autore secina, ka lielākajai daļai audzēkņu prakses vietu atrašana nesagādā problēmas, jo prakses vietas piedāvā gan tehnikums, gan arī paši audzēkni, visbiežāk caur paziņām, atrod sev prakses vietas mācību laikā. Autore secina, ka audzēkņi ir apmierināti ar prakses vietu pieejamību un prakses iespējām Rīgas Stila un modes tehnikumā, taču viss ir atkarīgs no katra audzēkņa vēlmes un motivācijas atrast sev vispiemērotāko prakses vietu.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to explore whether vocational education students have problems finding practices and jobs in a particular profession, as well as to explore how different factors influence the choice of the profession among students. The theoretical basis of the bachelor's thesis consists of the theories of credentialism, human capital and social capital theories, as well as previous research in the field of vocational education. In the course of the work, the author conducted 10 semi-structured interviews with students of Riga Style and Fashion Technical School. As a result, the author concludes that finding practices is not a problem for the majority of students, because practices are offered both by the technical school and also by the students themselves, most often through acquaintances, they find internships during their studies. The author concludes that students are satisfied with the availability of apprenticeships and practice opportunities in Riga style and fashion technique, but everything depends on the desire and motivation of each student to find the most suitable apprenticeship.
