Aripiprazola un olanzapīna ietekme uz kognitīvajām funkcijām apomorfīna uzvedības modelī

Abstract

Šizofrēniju ārstē ar antipsihotiskām vielām, kuru blaknes ir kognitīvo funkciju pasliktināšanās, kas ir ļoti nozīmīga problēma šizofrēnijas slimnieku sociālās aprūpes iznākumā. Tādēļ tiek meklēti jauni antipsiohotiskie līdzekļi, kas neietekmētu kognīciju. Aripiprazols un olanzapīns ir jaunās paaudzes antipsihotiskās vielas, kas varētu būt pārākas par citiem aģentiem, ja neietekmētu kognitīvo funkciju. Šī pētījuma mērķis bija novērtēt aripiprazola un olanzapīna ietekmi uz kognitīvajām funkcijām apomorfīna izraisītas šizofrēnijas modelī. Iegūtie rezultāti liecina, ka aripiprazols un olanzapīns samazina izvairīšanos no strāvas sitiena skaitu Shuttle Box testā, bet olanzapīns samazina izbēgšanu skaitu. Aripiprazols pagarināja latento periodu Step Through testā. Rezultāti liecina, ka abas antipsihotiskās vielas tomēr ietekmē kognitīvo funkciju, jo pasliktina darba atmiņu, uzmanību un atmiņu. Schizophrenia is treated with antipsychotic substances whose side effects include worsening of cognitive function, and it is a very significant problem in social care outcome of schizophrenic patients. Therefore, researchers search for new antipsychotic drugs that do not affect cognition. Aripiprazole and olanzapine are a new generation antipsychotic agents that could be superior to other agents if they did not affect cognitive function. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effects of aripiprazole and olanzapine on cognitive function in apomorphine-induced schizophrenia model. The results suggest that aripiprazole and olanzapine reduced number of avoidances from the electric shock in Shuttle Box test, but effects of olanzapine were associated with reduced number of escape. Aripiprazole prolonged latent period in Step Through test. The results show that both antipsychotic agents are likely to influence cognitive function, because they impair working memory, attention and memory.
