Abstract
The thesis is written in Latvian on 25 pages. It contains 9 figures, 3 tables, 2 appendices, and 41 references. The aim of this work is to investigate how the spectral composition of a light source affects the results of the Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue colour arrangement test (FM-100) and to investigate it’s role in colour vision diagnostics. Study participants performed this colour vision arrangement tests in the presence of 4 different CIE standard illuminants : CIE A, CIE D65, CIE F2 and CIE F11. Statistical significance was found for the effect of the spectral composition of the light source on the S-index value of the FM-100 color arrangement test according to Vingrys & Kingsmith (1988) method, but not on the C-index value (p = 0.01).
