Resursu koplietošanas metodes infrastruktūras mākoņos

Abstract

Lai gan infrastruktūras mākoņi lielā mērā ir balstīti uz resursu virtualizāciju, koplietošanu, un to izdalīšanu klientam, ir ļoti daudz resursu, kuru lietošana mākoņos vēl nav līdz galam popularizēta, skaidra un attīstīta. Šo resursu starpā ir grafikas procesori un citas PCI Express ierīces, kā arī USB ierīces. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir apzināt šo resursu koplietošanas metodes, novērtēt to lietojamību, pieejamību un sarežģītību, un salīdzināt tās savā starpā, ja tas iespējams, kā arī aprakstīt tās resursu koplietošanas metodes, kas vēl ir tikai izstrādes stadijā. Darba rezultātā ir iegūta padziļināta izpratne par infrastruktūras mākoņiem un dažādu datorresursu koplietošanu, ir izpētītas un salīdzinātas dažādas pieejas un metodes, un apzināta tekošā šo tehnoloģiju attīstības stadija un potenciālas metodes.

Although IaaS clouds are primarily based on resource virtualization, sharing and provision to tenants, there are many resources with sharing methods that are not yet popular, fully clear and developed. Among these resources are graphics processors and other PCI Express devices, as well as USB devices. The goal of this bachelor’s thesis is to identify the methods of sharing these resources, evaluate their usability, availability and difficulty, comparing them, if possible, as well as to describe those resource sharing methods which are still in development. The work has resulted in deeper understanding of infrastructure clouds and computer resource sharing. Different methods and approaches have been researched and compared, and the current state of this technology and other potential methods have been identified.
