Abstract

Bakalaura darba “Mākslīgais intelekts un māksla: nolūka loma mākslas darba tapšanā un interpretācijā” mērķis ir noskaidrot, vai ģeneratīvā mākslīgā intelekta (MI) radītos darbus var uzskatīt par mākslu un MI - par mākslinieku, izvērtējot, cik nozīmīgs ir nolūks mākslas darba radīšanā un interpretācijā. Darbā tiek analizētas dažādas pozīcijas (intencionālisms, konstruktīvisms, anti-intencionālisms) par nolūka un interpretācijas attiecībām, iesaistot tās diskusijā par MI ģenerētās mākslas statusu un iespējām atzīt ģeneratīvo MI par mākslinieku.

The aim of the bachelor's thesis "Artificial Intelligence and Art: The Role of Intention in the Creation and Interpretation of Artworks" is to determine whether works created by generative artificial intelligence (AI) can be considered art and whether AI can be considered an artist, by evaluating the significance of intention in the creation and interpretation of art. The thesis analyzes various positions (intentionalism, constructivism, anti-intentionalism) regarding the relationship between intention and interpretation, incorporating them into the discussion on the status of AI-generated art and the potential recognition of generative AI as an artist.
