Abstract
Master thesis is written in Latvian on 39 pages. It contains 9 tables, 26 pictures, 1 appendix, and 20 references. Purpose: to analyze eye movements in tracking complete and partial figure contour. Method: Eye movements were recorded using IViewX RED500. The parameters of saccades, fixations, and accuracy of eye movements were analyzed. Subjects: 6 subjects took part in experiment. Results: There was no major difference between saccade amount, average amplitude, and velocity of saccades in tracking complete, partial, and vanishing figure contour. Saccade latency was significantly shorter when observing vanishing figure contour. Tracking of complete and vanishing figure contour was more precise than partial. There was tendency to form smaller shapes in all cases.
