Bibliotēka- "trešās mājas". Lasītavu izmantošana bibliotēkā

Abstract

Lasītavas, līdz ar tehnoloģiju attīstību, kļuvušas ne tikai par vietu, kur klusumā lasīt kādu grāmatu, bet arī par vietu, kur atpūsties no ikdienas steigas, izmantot pieejamos datorus, interneta pieslēgumu. Pētījuma „Bibliotēka – „trešās mājas”. Lasītavu izmantošana bibliotēkā” mērķis ir noskaidrot, cik daudz laika un kā lietotāji pavada Latvijas Nacionālās bibliotēkas lasītavās. Pētījumā tika izmantotas anketēšanas, intervijas un novērošanas pētniecības metodes. Tika aptaujāti Latvijas Nacionālās bibliotēkas lasītavu apmeklētāji, apmeklētāju anketas papildina lasītāju novērošana un darbinieku strukturētās intervijas. Pētījuma rezultāti norāda, cik laika lietotāji parasti izvēlas pavadīt bibliotēkā, ko viņi tur dara un kādi faktori visbiežāk nosaka bibliotēkā pavadīto laiku.

Reading rooms, along with the development of technologies, become not only for place where to read in quiet, but also for a place where to rest from the daily rush, to use computers, internet connection. The research „Library – the “third home”. The use of a library reading rooms” aim is to see how much time and how users spend in Latvian National library reading rooms. Research used in the reply, interviews and observation research methods. There were interviewed National Library of Latvia reading-rooms visitors, visitors and staff complements the reader monitoring questionnaire structured interviews. The results of the study indicates how much time users typically spend in library, what they are doing and what factors determine the time spent in the library.
