Moodle sistēmas saskarnes uzlabošanas koncepts uz LU e-studiju vides piemēra

Abstract

Daudzas augstākas izglītības iestādes aktīvi izmanto e-apmācības sistēmas, ar ko padara izglītības procesu pieejamāku. Bieži vien šādu sistēmu izstrādātāji koncentrējas uz tehnoloģiskajiem aspektiem, un neņem vērā gala lietotāju vajadzībās un prasības. Rezultātā izstrādātie risinājumi mēdz būt grūti saprotami, un neērti lietojami. Šajā darba ietvaros tika veikta detalizēta problēmas teorētiska analīze. Darba praktiskajā daļā tika veikta aptauja starp LU studentiem un pasniedzējiem ar mērķi uzzināt lietotāju attieksmi pret esošo Moodle sistēmu un to atsevišķām sastāvdaļām. Balstoties uz aptaujas rezultātiem, tika izstrādāti uzlabotie Moodle saskarnes prototipi sistēmas problemātiskākajām sadaļām, kas tika arī pārbaudīti praktiskā eksperimentā iesaistot lietotājus un veicot esošā un jaunā risinājuma salīdzinošu testēšanu.

Many higher education institutions actively use e-learning system, thus making the learning process more accessible. It is common that the developers of these systems focus on technological aspects, and spend less time to research the needs and requirements of the end users of the system. As a result the systems tend to be difficult and tedious to use. A detailed theoretical analysis of the problem is performed in this thesis. In the practical part of the thesis a survey of students and teachers was performed, to find out what users think about the current Moodle system and its components. Based on the results of the survey improved Moodle interface wireframes where created for the problematic components. The wireframes where tested against the current Moodle system in a practical experiment with the involvement of users.
