Padomju Savienības uzvara Lielajā Tēvijas karā: reprezentācija laikrakstā "Padomju Jaunatne" (1965 - 1985)

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā aplūkota Uzvaras svētku rituāla reprezentācija laikrakstā „Padomju Jaunatne”. Pētījuma problēma ir šīs dienas izmantojums padomju varas politisko ieceru realizācijai, savukārt pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, kā rituāls reprezentēts un kā tā reprezentācijā atklājas varas propaganda. Teorija aplūko reprezentācijas un rituāla jēdzienus, tā iezīmes, funkcijas un lomu politikā. Tāpat iekļauts vēsturiskā konteksta apraksts un raksturota rituālu nozīme Padomju Savienībā. Pētījums veikts, izmantojot kontentanalīzi un diskursa vēsturisko analīzi. Rezultāti liecina, ka Uzvaras svētku būtiskākās funkcijas bija identitātes radīšana, leģitimitātes apliecināšana un vērtību iedvešana.

This Bachelor’s paper examines the ritualistic representation of Victory Day in the newspaper „Soviet Youth”. The subject matter of the study is the use of a holiday for the realization of certain political objectives of the Soviet powers, while the goal of the research is to inquire into the different ways of the representation of this ritual and how the these representations carry out the propaganda of the authorities. Theoretical part of the paper investigates the notion of rituals, its main characteristics, functions, and role in the politics. An outline of the historical context and a description of the significance of rituals in the Soviet Union are included in this part as well. The methods of content analysis and discourse-historical approach have been applied while conducting this research. The results of the research indicate that the celebration of Victory Day had an essential role in the creation of identity and values of an individual, as well as the legitimizing of the regime.
