Abstract
The aim of this qualification is to investigate the impact of handicrafts on the fine motor development of older pre-school children. The study uses theoretical analysis, empirical observation and parent survey methods. The results show that regular handicraft activities significantly improve fine motor skills as well as hand-finger coordination, concentration, patience and creativity, contributing to children's overall development. The research process involved the development of a 6-week practical lesson plan and a pedagogical pilot with more than 20 activities and observation, as well as an analysis of the effectiveness of the research. The thesis is 48 pages long, includes 14 figures, 14 tables, 3 annexes.
