Abstract
Bakalaura darba mērķis bija izpētīt, kādas ir saistības starp vecāku problemātisku alkohola lietošanas pieredzi, stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģijām un uztverto sociālo atbalstu jauniem pieaugušajiem. Pētījumā piedalījās 102 respondenti - 84 sievietes, 17 vīrieši un 1 respondents ar norādīto dzimumu “cits”, vecumā no 18 līdz 25 gadiem. Aptaujas, kas izmantotas pētījumā - Īsais alkoholiķu bērnu skrīninga tests, Īsā stresa pārvarēšanas aptauja un Daudzdimensionālā sociālā atbalsta skala. Rezultāti liek secināt, ka pastāv statistiski nozīmīgas un pozitīvas saistības starp izvairīgajām stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģijām un vecāku problemātiskas alkohola lietošanas pieredzi jaunajiem pieaugušajiem. Pastāv statistiski nozīmīgas un pozitīvas saistības starp uz problēmām orientētajām pārvarēšanas stratēģijām, uz emocijām orientētajām pārvarēšanas stratēģijām un kopējo uztverto sociālo atbalstu, tajā skaitā, uztverto draugu un citu nozīmīgu cilvēku atbalstu. Pastāv statistiski nozīmīgas un negatīvas saistības starp izvairīgajām pārvarēšanas stratēģijām un uztverto ģimenes atbalstu. Kā arī ir statistiski nozīmīgas un negatīvas saistības starp uztverto ģimenes atbalstu un vecāku problemātisku alkohola lietošanas pieredzi.
The aim of the bachelor’s thesis was to investigate the relationship between parental problem drinking experience, coping strategies and perceived social support in young adults. The study involved 102 respondents - 84 female, 17 male and 1 respondent with gender 'other', aged between 18 and 25 years. The questionnaires used in the study were tthe Shortened the children of alcoholics screening test, The Brief Coping Orientation for Problem Experiences Inventory and Multdimensional Scales of Perceived Social Support. The results suggest that there is a statistically significant and positive associations between avoidant coping strategies and parental problem drinking experience in young adults. There are statistically significant and positive associations between problem-focused coping strategies, emotion-focused coping strategies and overall perceived social support, including perceived support from friends and significant others. There are statistically significant and negative associations between avoidant coping strategies and perceived family support. There are also statistically significant and negative associations between perceived family support and parental problem drinking experience.
