Pamesto vietu subkultūras Rīgā: Ķīšezera apkārtnes piemērs

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā „Pamesto vietu subkultūras Rīgā: Ķīšezera apkārtnes piemērs” aplūkotas Ķīšezera apkārtnē esošo pamesto vietu mijattiecības ar subkultūrām, kā arī šo teritoriju vēsturiskā attīstība. Lietojot Edvarda Soudžas (Soja) telpas trialektikas teoriju, raksturota subkultūru mijiedarbība ar pamestajām vietām kā to pieredzes telpām. Izpētīti pamesto vietu vēsturiskie konteksti. Tas panākts ar novērojumu un interviju palīdzību, kā arī veicot interneta sociālo tīklu kontentanalīzi un izpētot dažādus literatūras avotus un kartogrāfiskus materiālus. Balstoties uz pētījuma rezultātiem, secināts, ka pamesto vietu rašanās skaidrojama ar sarežģījumiem, kas radušies pārejas procesā starp politiskiem un ekonomiskiem modeļiem pēc Padomju Savienības sabrukuma. Pilsētpētnieki, slēpņotāji, ielu mākslinieki un bezpajumtnieki ir šo pamesto vietu lietotāji, kuru mijattiecības ar šīm vietām ir atkarīga no dažādiem atsevišķo vietu un subkultūru ietekmējošiem faktoriem.

Bachelor thesis „Subcultures of abandoned places in Rīga: the case of Ķīšezers vicinity” is a study of abandoned places in Ķīšezers vicinity and their interrelations with subcultures, and historical development of these places. Interrelations between subcultures and abandoned places as their lived spaces are described using Edward Soja theory of space trialectics. Also the historical contexts of abandoned places are studied. It is done through observation and interviews, social network content analysis is used and different literature sources and cartographic materials are studied. Based on the results of the study it is concluded that emergence of abandoned places has happened due to difficulties in the transition process between political and economic systems after the collapse of Soviet Union. Urban explorers, geocachers, street artists and homeless people are users of abandoned places and their relationships with these places depend on various influencing factors.
