Programminženierijas projekta izstrādes rīku modernizācijas novērtējums

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā izdarīts novērtējums, vai programminženierijas projekta SOPA izstrādes rīkus ir nepieciešams modernizēt no Microsoft Visual Basic 6 uz Microsoft Visual Basic .NET 2005. Darbā ir apskatīti galvenie kritēriji projekta modernizācijas nepieciešamībai, ir izanalizēti galvenie ieguvumi no projekta izstrādes rīku modernizācijas. Darbā ir aprakstīts, kā novērtēt, vai konkrēta modernizācijas metode ir efektīva. Pēc tam ir apskatītas četras iespējamās modernizācijas metodes un novērtēta to darbietilpība. Izvērtējot visas metodes, secināts, ka projekta SOPA modernizācijā ieguldāma darbietilpība ir pārāk liela, lai modernizācija būtu nepieciešama.

It is evaluated in the bachelor paper, whether it is necessary to modernize development tools of software project SOPA by migrating it from Microsoft Visual Basic 6 to Microsoft Visual Basic .NET 2005. The main modernization decision criteria are examined and the main gains from the modernization of the project are analyzed. It is described in the work, how to evaluate, whether a certain modernization method is effective. After that four possible methods of modernization are discussed, and the labor-intensity of each method is evaluated. By appraising all of the methods, it is concluded, that the labor-intensity, which needs to be invested in the modernization of the project SOPA is too great for the modernization to be necessary.
