Abstract
Šajā diplomdarbā autore iespēju robežās analizējusi sinhrono tulkošanu medijos un specifiski televīzijā kā atsevišķu un unikālu mutiskās tulkošanas veidu. Darba ietvaros sniegts gan sinhronās tulkošanas īss vēsturisks apskats, gan šī tulkošanas veida izmantošanas attīstības un biežuma televīzijā izvērtējums.
Darba autore apkopojusi vairāku tulkošanas procesu pētnieku atklājumus un secinājumus, kas saistāmi ar sinhronās tulkošanas medijos specifiku. Īpaša uzmanība tiek pievērsta šī tulkošanas veida īpašo aspektu identificēšanai, kā arī to faktoru definēšanai un analīzei, kas sinhrono tulkošanu medijos būtiski atšķir no sinhronās tulkošanas konferences apstākļos.
The author of this diploma paper, within the limits of possibility, has analyzed simultaneous interpretation in the media, and specifically in television, as an altogether unique type of verbal interpretation. Within this paper both a short historical overview of simultaneous interpretation is given, as well as an evaluation of the development and frequency of use of this mode of interpretation. The author has summarized the findings and conclusions of several researchers of the interpretation process, as they pertain to the specifics of simultaneous interpretation in the media. Special attention is given to the identification of unique aspects of this type of interpretation, as well as the definition and analysis of factors, which differentiate simultaneous interpretation in the media from conference simultaneous interpretation.
