Sociālā darba metodes darbā ar ģimenēm ar bērniem Latvijā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba temats ir ,,Sociālā darba metodes darbā ar ģimenēm ar bērniem Latvijā’’. Darba mērķis bija noskaidrot un analizēt, kādas sociālā darba metodes tiek pielietotas darbā ar ģimenēm ar bērniem Latvijā, kas veicina ģimeņu atbalstu un bērnu labklājības nodrošināšanu. Pētījumā izmantota jaukta pētījuma metode. Kvalitatīvajā metodes daļā veiktas daļēji strukturētas intervijas ar sociālo darbinieku ar ģimenēm ar bērniem un jomas ekspertu. Kvantitatīvajā metodes daļā īstenota tiešsaistes aptauja ar Latvijas Republikas sociālajiem darbiniekiem ar ģimenēm ar bērniem. Interpretējot iegūtos datus, tika ņemts vērā teorētiskais ietvars, kurā aplūkots ģimenes ar bērniem jēdziens, sociālā darba prakse Latvijā, pielietoto metožu raksturojums un nozīme, Banduras sociālās mācīšanās teorija, ka arī iepriekš veiktie pētījumi par sociālā darba metodēm dažādās valstīs. Pētījumā tika secināts, ka sociālie darbinieki izmanto daudzveidīgas metodes darbā ar ģimenēm ar bērniem, visvairāk izmantojot konsultatīvās metodes kā motivējošā intervija un ,,saruna bez problēmām’’. Sociālo darbinieku skatījumā lielāku ģimenes iesaistes efektivitāti veicina konsultatīvās un grupas atbalsta metodes. Metožu izvēle visvairāk balstās uz klientu vajadzībām un sociālo problēmu, nevis iepriekšējo pieredzi ar līdzīgām metodēm. Sociālie darbinieki uzskata, ka sadarbībai un uzticībai starp klientu un sociālo darbinieku, kā arī klienta iesaistei ir lielāka ietekme uz metožu efektivitāti. Lielāka daļa sociālo darbinieku izmanto Labklājības ministrijas metodisko materiālu sociālais darbs ģimenēm ar bērniem, bet palidinot zināšanas mācību, tālākizglītības kursos, semināros un kolēģu, profesionālas pieredzes apmaiņas pasākumos. Studiju procesā sociālie darbinieki ir apguvuši teorētiskās zināšanas, taču norāda uz praktisko iemaņu trūkumu metožu pielietošanā darbā ar ģimenēm ar bērniem. The aim of the study was to determine and analyze which social work methods are applied when working with families with children in Latvia, in order to promote family support and ensure children's well-being. The study used a mixed research method. The qualitative part of the method involved semi-structured interviews with social workers with families with children and an expert in the field. The quantitative part of the method involved an online survey with social workers with families with children in the Republic of Latvia. When interpreting the obtained data, the theoretical framework was taken into account, which examines the concept of a family with children, social work practice in Latvia, the characteristics and significance of the methods used, Bandura's social learning theory, as well as previously conducted research on social work methods in various countries. The study concluded that social workers use a variety of methods in their work with families with children, using mostly consultative methods such as motivational interviewing and ‘’problem-free talk’’. In the view of social workers, consultative and group support methods contribute to greater effectiveness of family involvement. The choice of methods is based mostly on the needs of clients and social problems, rather than previous experience with similar methods. Social workers believe that cooperation and trust between the client and the social worker, as well as client involvement, have a greater impact on the effectiveness of the methods. The majority of social workers use the Ministry of Welfare's methodological materials on social work for families with children, but they improve their knowledge in training, further education courses, seminars and colleagues and professional experience exchange events. During the study process, social workers have acquired theoretical knowledge, but point to a lack of practical skills in applying methods in work with families with children.
