Abstract
Darbā aplūkotas AJAX tehnoloģijas kā jauna pieeja tīmekļa lietojumprogrammu izstrādei. Apskatītas AJAX biezo tīmekļa klientu iespējas un dots salīdzinājums ar klasiskām tīmekļa lietojumprogrammām. Izpētīti AJAX lietojumprogrammu praktiskie izstrādes aspekti. Dots populāru AJAX ietvaru apskats un klasificējums. Apskatītas satura pārvaldības sistēmu un satura repozitoriju funkcijas un lietojumi.
Darba gaitā ir izstrādāts sistēmas prototips - universāls satura repozitoriju klients. Nodemonstrēts sistēmas projektējums un arhitektūra.
This paper explores AJAX technology as new approach for web application development. Described AJAX thick web client facilities and given comparison with traditional thin client web applications. Also are analyzed practical issues of AJAX application development. Author gives review and classification of popular AJAX frameworks. Paper also gives description of content management system and content repository functions and use cases. Author demonstrates his own developed system prototype – universal content repository client. Paper describes system design and architecture.
