Latvijas Nacionālās bibliotēkas Atbalsta biedrības loma projekta veicināšanā: pilsoniskās līdzdalības un mediju vēstījuma analīze

Abstract

Pētnieciskais darbs ar nosaukumu „Latvijas Nacionālās bibliotēkas Atbalsta biedrības loma projekta "Gaismas pils" veicināšanā: pilsoniskās līdzdalības un mediju vēstījuma analīze” analizē biedrības radīto sociālā tīkla fenomenu un to veicinošo sabiedrisko attiecību kampaņu vēstījumus medijos gan latviešu, gan krievu valodā. Tēmas aktualitāti raksturo projekta „Gaismas pils” nacionālais mērogs un dalītie viedokļi sabiedrībā, kas atspoguļojas arī plašsaziņas līdzekļos, mazinot sabiedrības atbalstu jaunas bibliotēkas ēkas celtniecībai. Līdz ar to palielinās LNBAB loma un tās realizēto sabiedrisko attiecību īpašie pasākumi. Mērķis: noskaidrot pilsoniskās līdzdalības un sociālā tīkla, kā būtiska atbalstu veicinoša elementa, veidošanās iemeslus, kā arī noskaidrot mediju vēstījumos radītā biedrības un tās realizēto kampaņu tēla lomu Latvijas Nacionālās bibliotēkas projekta „Gaismas pils” veicināšanā. Darbs strukturēts trijās daļās: teorētiskā, empīriskā un secinājumu daļa. Teorētiskā daļa atklāj pilsoniskās līdzdalības un sabiedrisko organizāciju veidošanās konceptus, tēla konstruēšanas teorijas un sabiedrisko attiecību kampaņu veidošanas principus. Datu iegūšanai izmantotas intervijas ar biedrības vadību un biedriem, kā arī biedrības realizēto sabiedrisko attiecību kampaņu publicitātes kontentanalīze, apkopojot Lursoft datubāzē, ziņu aģentūras LETA arhīvā un biedrības bibliogrāfijā pieejamos materiālus. Informācijas vākšanai un datu analīzei izmantota arī biedrības iekšējo un ārējo dokumentu analīze.

The research paper under the title The Role of the Support Society of the Latvian National Library in Furtherance of the Project "Gaismas pils": Analysis of Civic Participation and Media Message analyses the phenomenon of social network created by the Society and public relations campaign messages furthering it in media in Latvian and in Russian.

The topicality of the theme can be characterised by the national scale of the project Castle of Light and varied opinions reflected also in the mass media reducing the support of the public to the construction of a new library building. Therefore the role of the Support Society of the Latvian National Library and special public measures implemented by it are increasing.

The purpose is to clarify the reasons for the formation of civic participation and social network as an essential element furthering the support and to identify the role of the Society and the role of its implemented campaign image reflected in media messages in the furtherance of the Castle of Light, a project of the Latvian National Library.

The paper is composed of three parts: theoretical and empirical parts and conclusions. The theoretical part discloses the concepts for formation of civic participation and public organisations, principles of the image construction theories and formation of public relations campaigns. Data have been acquired from interviews with the management and members of the Society, as well as content analysis of the publicity of public relations campaigns implemented by the Society, upon summarisation of materials available from the Lursoft database, archives of the LETA News Agency and the bibliography of the Society. For the sake of collection and data analysis of information, analysis of internal and external Society documents has also been used.
