Pilsētvides naratīvs Žaņa Legzdiņa fotogrāfijās žurnālā „Zvaigzne” (1958 - 1960)

Abstract

Darba galvenais mērķis ir atklāt, kādu stāstu par pilsētu piedāvā fotogrāfa Žaņa Legzdiņa fotogrāfijas žurnālā „Zvaigzne” 20. gs. 50. gadu otrajā pusē un 60. gadu sākumā. Darbā skaidrots reprezentācijas jēdziens, ietverts LPSR saimniecisko apstākļu un LPSR mediju sistēmas, kā arī fotogrāfijas 20. gs. 50.–60. gados apraksts. Aplūkota arī fotogrāfija kā reprezentācijas un komunikācijas veids un tās analīze medijos. Pētījuma veikšanai izmantoju kvantitatīvo kontentanalīzi, naratīva un semiotisko analīzi. Pilsētvides naratīvs izveidojās no piecu kategoriju naratīvu par pilsētu analīzes apkopošanas. Rezultāti liecina, ka Ž. Legzdiņa fotogrāfijās vēstījums par attīstību, sakārtotu un pilnīgu dzīves vidi ir pilsētvides naratīva pamatā.

The subject of this research is to discover the story of city, told in photographs by Zanis Legzdins, published in magazine „Zvaigzne” in late fifties of 20th century. The paper describes the term of representation, the economic situation of Latvian Soviet Social Republic and its media system, and includes the description of photography in late fifties of 20th century in general. Description of photography as a type of represantation and comunication and its analysis in media is also examined. The study was carried out using quantitative content analysis, narrative and semiotic analysis. The Narrative of Urban Environment formed from five categories of narrative analysis of urban collection. The results show that narrative of urban environment is based on the story of progress, developement and arranged and absolute urban environment.
