Studentu līderības veidošanās iespējas

Abstract

Maģistra darba mērķis bija analizēt un interpretēt līderības daudzveidīgo būtību, kā tas izpaužas mūsdienu studentos. Šī tēma musdienās ir ļoti aktuāla, jo līderības lomas izpausmes ietekmē studentu spējas vadīt savu darba dzīvi, it īpasi saskaņojot savu darba dzīvi ar personības pilnveidi. Lai šo darbu veiktu, darba autors izpētīja plašu recenzētas teorētiskas literatūras klāstu par līderību, kā arī veica empīrisku pētījumu un rezultātu interpretāciju. Abas pieejas integrēti izgaismoja pētījuma objekta būtību – saprast līderības jēgu un tās ietekmi uz studentu pilnveidošanos gan studijās, gan vēlā darba dzīvē. Lai apstiprinātu pētnieciskā objekta izpētes rezultātus, tika izvirzīti vairāki pētnieciskie jautājumi. To izpētē tika izmantota intervija par to, kas ir līderība un kā tā veidojas studentos. Atbildes uz jautājumiem tika rastas izmantojot anketēšanu, interviju un literatūras analīzi, kas ir detalizēti parādīts darbā. Darba noslēgumā ir dota diskusija par pētījuma rezultatiem, secinājumi un ieteikumi turpmākiem pētījumiem.

The aim of this thesis was to analyze and interpret the multifaceted nature of leadership as it applies to modern students. This topic is of importance in contemporary settings due to the implications of its role in affecting students’ capabilities to lead their lives in ways that correlate to productivity and sense of self fulfillment. In order to accomplish this task, the author of this thesis delved into a wide variety of peer reviewed literature on leadership while simultaneously conducting empirical research on the subject relative to the interpretation of participants. Both these approaches were integral to the illumination of the research object: to understand leadership and how it affects a student’s development, both through their academic career and later in the working world. However, in order to ascertain the scope of the research object, several research questions were necessarily posed. These included an overview of what leadership is and how this trait develops in students. These questions were answered through an amalgamation of questionnaire, interview, and literature-based inquiries, which are detailed later in this paper, along with a discussion of discovered results, conclusions, and suggestion for further research.
