Abstract
Bakalaura darbā “Pacifisma un taisnīga kara teorijas filozofiska analīze” tiek analizētas pacifisma un taisnīga kara teorijas doktrīnas, to ētiskie aspekti un nozīme mūsdienu kara kontekstā. Darba mērķis ir pamatot tēzi, ka ne pacifisms, ne taisnīga kara teorija nespēj nodrošināt mieru. Darba ietvaros tiks definēti abu teoriju pamatprincipi, kā arī izvērtēta to piemērotība dažādu ētisku dilemmu risināšanā gan individuālā, gan sabiedriskā līmenī. Noslēgumā tiks analizēta šo teoriju piemērojamība mūsdienu kara situācijās, izvērtējot to atbilstību jaunajiem globālajiem izaicinājumiem.
The bachelor's thesis “A Philosophical Analysis of Pacifism and Just War Theory” examines the doctrines of pacifism and just war theory, their ethical dimensions, and their relevance in the context of contemporary warfare. The aim of the thesis is to defend the argument that neither pacifism nor just war theory is capable of achieving lasting peace. The study will define the core principles of both theories and evaluate their applicability in addressing various ethical dilemmas at both the individual and societal levels. Finally, the thesis will analyze the relevance of these theories in modern armed conflicts, assessing their adequacy in the face of emerging global challenges.
