Ekokvalitātes zīmju un sertifikācijas novērtējums Latvijas ekotūrismā

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā tiek novērtēts ekokvalitātes zīmju un ekosertifikātu pieprasījums un atpazīstamība tūristu vidū. Analizējot iegūtos rezultātus, tiek izteikti secinājumi un priekšlikumi ekotūrisma nozarē strādājošām organizācijām ekokvalitātes zīmju un sertifikācijas sistēmas uzlabošanai un veiksmīgai to pamatmērķu realizēšanai Latvijas ekotūrismā. Darba mērķa sasniegšanai pakārtoti sekojoši uzdevumi. Pirmkārt, apkopot teorētisko informāciju par ekotūrismu, kā arī informāciju par kvalitātes un vides sertifikācijas sistēmu pielietojumu ekotūrismā. Otrkārt, izpētīt ekotūrisma attīstības gaitu Latvijas teritorijā, un pašreiz visvairāk izmantotās ekokvalitātes zīmes un sertifikācijas sistēmas. Treškārt, analizēt ekokvalitātes zīmju un ekosertifikātu novērtējumu tūristu vidū. Pētījums ir veikts par laika periodu no 2012. gada oktobra līdz decembrim ieskaitot. Darbs ir izstrādāts trīs daļās, katrai nodaļai pakārtojot vairākas apakšnodaļas. Pirmā daļa vairāk sastāv no teorētiskās informācijas, raksturojot ekotūrisma aizsākumus pasaulē, tā definīciju, principus, atšķirību no citiem līdzīgiem tūrisma veidiem un kvalitātes un vides sertifikācijas sistēmu. Otrā daļa tiek veltīta ekotūrisma aizsākumiem un attīstībai Latvijā, kāds ir iesaistīto organizāciju ieguldījums un visvairāk izmantotās ekokvalitātes zīmes un sertifikācijas sistēmas Latvijas ekotūrismā. Savukārt pēdējā daļā, autors veic analīzi, kas ietver novērtējumu par ekokvalitātes zīmju un ekosertifikātu pieprasījumu un atpazīstamību tūristu vidū, izmantojot kvantitatīvo un kvalitatīvo metodi. Darba saturs ir izklāstīts 80 lapaspusēs, kur izvietotas 2 tabulas un 13 attēli. Darba literatūras sarakstā ir 57 nosaukumi un 6 pielikumi.

In this bachelor thesis it is evaluated whether there is demand among tourists for eco-quality marks and eco-certificates and whether tourists recognise them. While analysing the results obtained, conclusions and proposals are made to the organisations active in the sector of ecotourism in order to improve the eco-quality marking and the systems of certification and to successfully implement their main goals in Latvian ecotourism. To achieve the objective of the thesis it was necessary to accomplish the following tasks. First, collecting theoretical information on ecotourism and information on the use of quality and environmental certification systems in ecotourism. Second, exploring the development of ecotourism in Latvia as well as eco-quality marks and systems of certification that are currently used the most. Third, analysing the appreciation of eco-quality marks and eco-certificates by tourists. The research concerns the period from October to December 2012 (inclusive). This thesis consists of three chapters, each of which contains several sub-chapters. The first chapter mainly contains theoretical information describing the beginnings of ecotourism in the world, its definition, principles, difference from other similar types of tourism, as well as quality and environmental certification system. The second chapter focuses on the beginnings and development of ecotourism in Latvia, the extent of the contribution by the organisations involved and the eco-quality marks and systems of certification that are currently used the most in Latvian ecotourism. Finally, in the last chapter the author makes an evaluative analysis of the demand by tourists for eco-quality marks and eco-certificates and their recognition by tourists, using quantitative and qualitative method. The content of the thesis is set out in 80 pages, which include 2 tables and 13 images. The bibliography of the thesis contains 57 titles and 6 attachments.
