Priekšlikumi Latvijas Universitātes Akadēmiskā centra Torņkalnā sociāli – ekoloģiskai attīstība

Abstract

Maģistra darba mērķis ir izvērtēt un izstrādāt priekšlikumus LU kampusa attīstībai sociāli ekoloģisku sistēmu pētniecības pieejas ietvarā. Apzinoties, ka šāda mēroga projekta attīstība atstāj ietekmi gan uz studentiem, gan apkārtējiem iedzīvotājiem un plašāk, kampuss tiek vērtēts kā sistēma, kuras kvalitāti ietekmē vērtības, spēja sadarboties, spēja būt noturīgam pretī nezināmajam. Tiek apzināta ietekme uz vietas lietotāju kognitīvajiem procesiem, un uzsvērta nepieciešamība caur attīstības procesu iesaistīt, izglītot un veicināt rūpes par vietu. Caur intervijām tiek apzināta vietas sociālā un ekoloģiskā vērtība, kā arī dažādais skatījums par kampusa attīstību. Balstoties uz iegūto informāciju, tiek apzinātas problēmas un piedāvāti priekšlikumi universitātes kampusa ilgtspējīgai attīstībai.

The aim of the master's thesis is to evaluate and develop proposals for the development of the LU campus within the research approach of social ecological systems. Being aware that the development of a project of this scale has an impact on both students and the surrounding population and beyond, the campus is seen as a system whose quality is influenced by values, the ability to work together, the ability to be resilient to the unknown. The impact on the cognitive processes of local users is identified and the need to engage, educate and promote care of place through the development process is emphasized. Through interviews, the social and ecological value of the place is identified, as well as the different views on campus development. Based on the information obtained, problems are identified and proposals for the sustainable development of the university campus are offered.
