Abstract

21. gadsimtā vairāk nekā jebkad vēsturē uzmanība tiek pievērsta kulināriskajam dzīvesveidam, gastronomijas dažādiem aspektiem. Taču valodniecībā nozare vēl nav tik detalizēti un sistemātiski pētīta, lai varētu runāt par vienotiem principiem, pieejamiem leksikogrāfiskajiem avotiem un priekšrocībām šaurās un specifiskās nozares tulkošanā. Maģistra darbā „Kulinārais diskurss un tā tulkošanas aspekti” pētītas nozares un kulinārā diskursa īpatnības, analizējot teoriju un valodas lietojumu recepšu krājumā. Balstoties uz apkopoto informāciju un veikto analīzi, sniegts kulinārā diskursa īpatnību vērtējums, izstrādāts tulkošanai paredzēts glosārijs.

n the 21st century more than ever in the history the attention is turned to culinary life-style, various aspects of culinary, gastronomy. Though, linguistics does not possess a particular quantity of detailed and systematic researches to speak about common principles, available sources of culinary information and benefits of interpreting in this narrow and specific field. Master Thesis “Culinary Discourse and Aspects of Its Interpreting” includes a study on the peculiarities of the field and culinary discourse analysing theoretical sources and the usage of language in a cookbook. Based on the information and its analysis, the evaluation of the peculiarities of culinary discourse is made, a glossary as a helping tool for interpretation is created.
