Programmēšanas apguves tīmekļa vietnes moduļu izstrāde

Abstract

Start(IT) ir projekts, kura mērķis ir palielināt programmēšanas apguves iespējas Latvijas vispārizglītojošās skolās. Lai atvieglotu mācības, tika izveidota tīmekļa vietne - sistēma, kurā to ērti var izdarīt. Kvalifikācijas darba ietvaros tīmekļa vietnei, kas veidota Ruby programmēšanas valodā Ruby on Rails ietvarā, tiek izstrādāti jauni moduļi, kas ļaus sistēmas lietotājiem apgūt konkrētus kursus, sekot līdzi mācību progresam, pārbaudīt savas zināšanas testos, kā arī pievienotas jaunas iespējas lietotāju profilos. Sistēmas dati tiek uzglabāti PostgreSQL datubāzē, savukārt sistēma ir veidota, izmantojot jaukto metodi, iekļaujot tajā spējās (Agile) un ūdenskrituma (waterfall) izstrādes metodes.Start(IT) is a project which intends to make programming more accessible for the students in the general education schools of Latvia. In order to facilitate studying, a website was created for the ease of access of resources, using Ruby in the Ruby on Rails framework. For the qualification work, new modules were developed for the aforementioned site, which allow the systems' users to learn specific courses, follow their progress and verify their knowledge in tests. Additional functionality was also added to the users' profiles. The data of the system is stored in a PostgreSQL database, the system was created using both Agile and waterfall development methods.
