Abstract
Darba autore: Samanta Putniņa Kvalifikācijas darba tēma: M. Montesori materiālu izmantošana matemātisko prasmju apguvē bērniem trešajā pirmsskolas vecumposmā Mērķis: pētīt M. Montesori materiālu izmantošanas ietekmi uz matemātisko prasmju apguvi trešajā pirmsskolas vecumposmā. Darbā tiek teorētiski un praktiski analizēta M. Montesori materiālu ietekme matemātikas prasmju apguvē bērniem trešajā pirmsskolas vecumposmā. Pētījuma norises laikā aprobētas aktivitātes ar M. Montesori materiālu izmantošanu matemātikas prasmju veicināšanai satura vienības “Matemātikas valoda: skaitlis un cipars”. Tika secināts, ka M. Montesori materiālu izmantošana pirmsskolas izglītības procesā veicina bērnu matemātisko prasmju apguvi, ja a) izvēlētie materiāli atbilst bērnu interesēm; b) bērniem tiek dotas izvēles iespējas; c) ir labvēlīga attieksme pret kļūdīšanos; d) bērniem ir iespēja izrādīt iniciatīvu. Darbs sastāv no 32 lappusēm, 30 izmantotiem literatūras avotiem, 12 attēliem un 6 tabulām. Atslēgas vārdi: M. Montesori materiāli, matemātikas apguve, pirmsskola.

The objective of research: To examine the impact of Montessori materials on the development of mathematical skills in children of the third preschool age. This paper presents both a theoretical and practical analysis of how Montessori materials influence the acquisition of mathematical skills in children of the third preschool age. As part of the research, educational activities incorporating Montessori materials were implemented to promote mathematical thinking within the content unit “Mathematical language: number and digit”. It was concluded that the use of M. Montessori materials in the preschool education process promotes the acquisition of mathematical skills in children if a) the selected materials correspond to the interests of children; b) children are given choices; c) there is a favorable attitude towards making mistakes; d) children have the opportunity to show initiative.
