Abstract
Bakalaura darba “Nostaļģijas aspekti seriāla “Stranger Things” 1.sezonā: efektivitātes novērtējums no Latvijas mileniāļu paaudzes viedokļa” mērķis ir novērot un analizēt rezonansi nostalģijas aspektiem seriāla “Stranger Things” 1.sezonai no Latvijas mileniāļu paaudzes viedokļa puses. Darba teorētiskā daļa sastāv no apraksta par semiotiku, kino valodu, paaudzēm un nostalģijas aktualitāti komunikācijā. Metodoloģiskajā daļā tiek aplūkota semiotikas un fokusgrupas diskusijas pētniecības metodes, kā arī prezentēts pētījuma plāns. Darbā tiek secināts, ka seriālā izmantotā kino valoda un nostalģijas aspekti rada Latvijas mileniāļu paaudzes auditorijai nostaļģiju.
The aim of the bachelor’s thesis “Nostalgia aspects in the 1st season of the series “Stranger Things”: efficiency assessment from the perspective of Latvian millennials” is to observe and analyze the resonance of the aspects of nostalgia for the 1st season of the series “Stranger Things” from the point of view of the Latvian millennial generation. The theoretical basis consists of the concept of semiotics, cinematic language, generations, and the relevance of nostalgia in communication. The methodological part examines the research methods of semiotics and focus group discussion, as well as presents the research plan. The author concludes that the cinematic language and nostalgic aspects used in the series create nostalgia of the Latvian millennial generation.
