Intertekstualitāte Dž.K. Roulingas "Harija Potera" romānu serijā

Abstract

Šī bakalaura darba tēma ir „Intertekstualitāte Dž. K. Roulingas "Harija Potera" romānu sērijā”. Es izvēlējos šo tēmu, jo 2008. gadā tika izdota pēdējā septītā grāmata šajā romānu sērijā un šīs grāmatas jau ir izraisījušas plašas diskusijas dažādās sabiedrības grupās. Šī ir lieliska iespēja izpētīt ko tieši Džoanna Ketlīna Roulinga ir izmantojusi savā romānā “Harijs Poters”. Šī darba mērķis ir ilustrēt kā Dž. K. Roulinga, rakstot „Harija Potera” romānu sēriju, ir izmantojusi intertekstualitāti. Es savā izpētē atainošu saistības starp mitoloģiskajiem tēliem, reliģiskajām tēmām, pasakās izmantotajiem elementiem, vēsturiskajām personībām, ģeogrāfiskajiem nosaukumiem un Aristoteļa filozofiju Dž. K. Roulingas grāmatās un citos literārajos un vēsturiskajos darbos. Šajā bakalaura darbā es izmantoju par Dž. K. Roulingas darbiem uzrakstītās grāmatas, Latvijas Universitātes databāzes materiālus un pieejamos rakstus no Interneta. Pētot šo tēmu es atklāju, ka par Dž. K. Roulingas”Hariju Poteru” ir sarakstītas daudz dažādas grāmatas un raksti par dažādām tēmām. Tas bija pierādījums tam, ka šī bakalaura darba tēma ir ļoti aktuāla. Tēmu par ”Harija Potera” grāmatām ir iespējams turpināt pētīt dažādos virzienos. Šī ir lieliska iespēja latviešu autoriem, jo Latviešu valodā ir pieejamas ļoti maz analītisku grāmatu par ”Hariju Poteru”. Pieejamās grāmatas ir tulkojumi no citām valodām.

The theme of the bachelor paper is “Intertextuality in ‘Harry Potter’ Series by J. K. Rowling” („Intertekstualitāte Dž. K. Roulingas „Harija Potera” romānu sērijā”). I have chosen this theme because the last seventh book in this series was edited in year 2008. It is good to write about recently finished books because there is opportunity to answer to the questions that these books have risen in people. These books have caused a great discussion in different social groups. This is a great opportunity to investigate what exactly Joanne Kathleen Rowling has used in her “Harry Potter”. Te aim of this term paper is to explore the ways how J. K. Rowling in “Harry Potter” series has used intertextuality. In my research I will draw parallels between the mythological characters, religious themes, fairy- tale elements, historical personalities, geographical names and Aristotle’s philosophy in J. K. Rowling’s books and in other literary and historical works. In this bachelor paper I will use available books written about J. K. Rowling’s books, materials from University of Latvia database and materials from Internet. During this research I found out that there are written a lot of different books and articles about J. K. Rowling’s “Harry Potter” series. These books covered many different themes. It was as a proof that the theme is topical. The themes covered in “Harry Potter” books allow many different interpretations. This is a great opportunity for Latvian authors because in Latvian there are still very few books available about “Harry Potter”. All of them are translations from other languages.
