Mīlestības atkarības simptomu saistība ar emociju regulācijas grūtībām, trauksmi un depresiju

Abstract

Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt saistības starp mīlestības atkarības simptomiem un emociju regulācijas grūtībām, trauksmi un depresiju. Pētījumā izvirzītas divas hipotēzes: (1) mīlestības atkarības simptomi ir pozitīvi saistīti ar emociju regulācijas grūtībām, trauksmi un depresiju; (2) emociju regulācijas grūtības, trauksme un depresija prognozē mīlestības atkarības simptomus. Pētījumā piedalās 240 respondenti, no kuriem 210 ir sievietes un 30 — vīrieši, vecumā no 18 līdz 73 gadiem. Visi pētījuma dalībnieki ir partnerattiecībās, kas ilgst vairāk nekā 6 mēnešus. Pētījuma metode — aprakstoši korelatīvs pētījums, kurā mīlestības atkarības simptomu mērīšanai izmantota Mīlestības atkarības aptauja (LAI), (Costa et al., 2019), kas adaptēta šī pētījuma ietvaros. Trauksmes un depresijas simptomu noteikšanai izmantota Depresijas, trauksmes un stresa skala (DASS-21), (Lovibond & Lovibond, 1995), ko latviešu valodā adaptējuši Vanags un Raščevska (Vanags & Raščevska, 2015). Savukārt, emociju regulācijas grūtību noteikšanai izmantota (DERS), (Gratz & Roemer, 2004), ko Latvijā adaptējusi Jansone (Jansone, 2011). Pētījuma rezultāti atklāj, ka mīlestības atkarības simptomi ir pozitīvi saistīti ar emociju regulācijas grūtībām, trauksmi un depresiju. Tāpat konstatēts, ka emociju regulācijas grūtības un trauksme prognozē mīlestības atkarības simptomus, savukārt depresija tos neprognozē.

The aim of the study is to examine the relationships between symptoms of love addiction and difficulties in emotion regulation, anxiety, and depression. Two hypotheses were proposed: (1) symptoms of love addiction are positively associated with difficulties in emotion regulation, anxiety, and depression; (2) difficulties in emotion regulation, anxiety, and depression predict symptoms of love addiction. The study includes 240 participants, of whom 210 are women and 30 are men, aged between 18 and 73 years. All participants are in romantic relationships that have lasted more than six months. Method – a descriptive correlative study. To measure symptoms of love addiction, the Love Addiction Inventory (LAI) (Costa et al., 2019), adapted for the purposes of this study, was used. To assess symptoms of anxiety and depression, the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS-21), (Lovibond & Lovibond, 1995) were used, adapted in Latvia by Vanags and Rascevska (Vanags & Rascevska, 2015). Difficulties in emotion regulation were assessed using the Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS), (Gratz & Roemer, 2004), adapted in Latvia by Jansone (Jansone, 2011). Results reveal that symptoms of love addiction are positively associated with difficulties in emotion regulation, anxiety, and depression. Furthermore, it was found that difficulties in emotion regulation and anxiety predict symptoms of love addiction, while depression does not.
