While still in its initial stages of development and employment of said technology is nothing entirely new, nonetheless it is one of indefinite nature and rapid development. This potential is reflected by already number of uses AI technology already has. The objective of this paper was to identify areas within copyright and patent law that would require added attention as surge in intersection between them and AI technology would cause far-reaching consequences for European legal regime in this field. This emerging technology presents itself as incredibly versatile and with impressive development momentum. As copyright and patent law is said to promote innovation and progress of the whole of humanity it should have the ability to match these development speeds. While generally it is true, however, that is not always the case.
