Migrēna: Hroniskas slimības naratīva analīze

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs „Migrēna: Hroniskas slimības naratīvs” ir kvalitatīvs pētījums par indivīdu galvassāpju naratīvu stāstīšanas praksēm. Darba mēŗkis ir izpētīt, kā indivīds skaidro savu slimības (galvassāpju) pieredzi caur stāstu, kas un kāpēc to ietekmē. Pētījuma pamatā izmantota Guda veidotās slimības naratīva iezīmes – stāsta sižetācija, pastatītās stāsta īpašības un lokalā diskursa uzstādījumi. Tā arī tiek skatīta dzimtes ietekme uz galvassāpju stāsta konstruēšanu. Pētījuma rezultātā var secināt, ka dzimte lielā mēra ietekmē slimības naratīvu un tā stāstīšanu.

Bachelor thesis “Migraine: The Narrative of a Chronical Illness” is a qualitative research on the telling practices of an individual headache narrative. Research objective is to discover how an individual describes their illness (headache) experience through story, what and why affects it. As the theoretical basis of the research Good’s created illness narrative features- the „emplotting” of illness, the „subjunctivizing” qualities of the story, the „positioning and suffering” in the local discourse setting -have been used. Through it, the effect of gender on headache story construction has been analysed. Based on research results it can be concluded, that gender does affect illness narrative and its storytelling to a large extent.
