Sieviete kā šamanisma kulta simbols Dienvidkorejas kultūrā

Abstract

Maģistra darba nosaukums ir „Sieviete kā šamanisma kulta simbols Dienvidkorejas kultūrā”. Darba galvenie mērķi ir izpētīt kādā veidā un kāpēc tieši sieviete kļuva un joprojām nemainīgi paliek par korejiešu šamanisma kulta galveno simbolu, noskaidrot, kāpēc Dienvidkorejas patriarhālajā sabiedrībā tiek uzskatīts, ka tikai sieviete ir tā, kas spēj savaldīt un labvēlīgi noskaņot garus, un izvērtēt, cik liela nozīme ir šamaņa dzimumam Dienvidkorejā un vai no tā ir atkarīga sabiedrības ticība tam, ko dara šamanis. Sieviete-šamanis ir parādība, kas dažās kultūrās ir pašsaprotams fakts. Dienvidkorejas sabiedrība ir viena no tām, kur sieviete-šamanis ir ne tikai pašsaprotams fakts, bet sieviete ir tā, kas daudzu gadu garumā ir ne tikai spējusi uzturēt cilvēkos ticību šai reliģijai, bet arī līdzējusi šamanisma kultam izdzīvot, neskatoties uz konfuciānisma, budisma un kristietības ienākšanu sabiedrībā.

The title of this Master’s thesis is „Female as the symbol of shamanism cult in the culture of South Korea”. The main goals of this thesis are to examine how and why exactly a female became and still is the symbol of the Korean shamanism cult, to clarify why people believe that only a female can deal with unruly spirits in South Korean patriarchal society and assess how important is a gender of a shaman in South Korea and whether it influences people’s belief in what shaman do. Female shaman is a phenomenon that is a common thing in some of the world’s cultures. In South Korean society a female shaman is not only a common thing, but she was the one who kept a belief in shamanism alive and made shamanism able to survive among such strong religions as Confucianism, Buddhism and Christianity. Female gender still stays in the shadow of a male gender in many aspects of life in South Korea, but the shamanism cult is an area in which a male will never be the first who will be chosen.
