Abstract
Riga Eastern Clinical University Hospital has a large number of medical personnel, for which the medical institution should report to the Health Inspection and the National Health Service. Information to the Health Inspection should be sent, when the doctor submit a medical certificate, but to the National Health Service - once a month. Currently, there are no specialized accounting system for these persons. Result of that, preparation of data takes a long time, there are involved people from several departments, and there is a high risk of error in the data. The thesis was that ERP Horizon could ensure the specific needs of the hospital for accounting of medical persons. Using this system, the number of involved employees, time spent for the preparation and transmission of data and possible risk of errors would be reduced.
