Abstract

Maģistra darba “Sabiedrības viedoklis par vēja parka attīstību Latgalē un to ietekmi uz ainavu” mērķis ir noskaidrot sabiedrības attieksmi saistībā ar vēja parku attīstību Latgalē, ņemot vērā reģiona sociāli ekonomisko situāciju un iedzīvotāju piederības sajūtu Latgales kultūrvēsturiskajam novadam. Pētījumā tika izmantots iedzīvotāju anketēšanas un viedokļa līderu intervēšanas metodes. Lielākā sabiedrības daļa, cerot uz ekonomikas izaugsmi, atbalsta vēja parku attīstību Latgalē. Pozitīvu vai negatīvu attieksmi attiecībā pret vēja parku būvniecību Latgalē nosaka sabiedrības vecums. Esošās ainavas saglabāšana vairāk prioritāra ir vecāka gadagājuma cilvēkiem.

The aim of the Master’s thesis “Public opinion on the development of wind parks in Latgale and their impact on the landscape” is to examine the public's attitude on wind park development in Latgale, taking into account the socio-economic situation of the region and the populations sense of belonging to the cultural and historical region of Latgale. The study used a public questionnaire and opinion leader interviews as the methods of research. It was concluded that the majority of the public, hoping for economic growth, supports the development of wind farms in Latgale and the attitude towards the construction of wind farms in Latgale is affected by the age of the population, for example, preservation of the existing landscape is more of a priority for older age groups.
