Abstract
Maģistra darba „Podologa profesionālo kompetenču veidošanās profesionālajā studiju
programmā” mērķis - izpētīt podologa profesionālo kompetenču veidošanos studiju
programmas īstenošanas procesā.
Darba teorētiskajā daļā ar zinātniskās literatūras analīzes palīdzību analizēta podologa
profesionālo kompetenču veidošanās pirmā līmeņa profesionālajā studiju programmā.

The aim of the Master’s thesis „Development ofPodologists’ Profesional Competences in the Study Process” is to explore the formation of professional competence of podiatrists during the process of learning in a study program. In the theoretical section of the work the author analyzes the formation of podiatrists’ professional competence in the process of first professional study program with the help of relevant scientific literature. The theoretical foundation is based upon the following authors: Berliner C., Gage N., 1999; Miller M.A., Babcock D., 1996; Erikson E., 1998; Garleja R., 2003; Karpova Ā., 1998; Koķe T., 1999; Maslo E., 2003 u.c. The empirical part of the study aimed to clarify podiatrists’ professional competence and its formation consists in-depth interviews.
