Abstract
Bakalaura darbā „Čigānu integrācija Latvijā, Spānijā un Bulgārijā” aplūkotas galvenās čigānu integrācijas problēmas, balstoties uz teorētiskās literatūras apskatu par diskrimināciju, vienlīdzību un rasismu, kā arī statistikas datiem par čigānu stāvokli izglītībā un nodarbinātībā Latvijā, Spānijā un Bulgārijā. Aplūkota arī kopējā sabiedrības attieksme pret čigāniem šajās trīs valstīs. Lai labāk saprastu iemeslus čigānu problēmām un dažādu ES un nacionālo programmu lietderību, tika izvēlēta teksta un statistikas datu analīze un kvalitatīvā pētniecības metode – dziļās intervijas. Pētījuma gaitā apstiprinājās izvēlētās tēmas aktualitāte, tika iegūta plaša un daudzveidīga informācija par čigānu integrācijas problēmām un to cēloņiem. Darba mērķi tika sasniegti, tomēr hipotēze tika apgāzta, jo darba sākumā uzstādītais apgalvojums - ES un nacionālās programmas nepalīdz novērst čigānu integrācijas problēmas - neapstiprinājās.

In the Bachelor paper „Roma integration in Latvia, Spain and Bulgaria” the main subject is roma integration problems. The materials what are used for the paper are survey of theoretical literature about discrimination, equality and racism, as well as statistic data about Roma situation in education and employment systems of Latvia, Spain and Bulgaria. In paper can be found analysis about public opinion in these three states. To discover the reasons of Roma problems and usefulness of various EU and national programms, there was chosen text and statistic date analysis and qualitative research method – depht interwiewing. During the inquiry confirmed the topicality of choosen theme, the author obtained variour and rich information about Roma integration problemas and reasons. Main goals of Bachelors paper where achieved, however the hypothesis was inverted, because the statement wich was marked in the start of the paper – EU and nacional programms don’t help to eliminate Roma integration problems – unconfirmed.
