Abstract
Maģistra darbs „Latvijā reģistrēto ieguldījumu fondu analīze”.
Darba mērķis ir izpētīt Latvijas ieguldījumu fondus, to darbību, piedāvātos
pakalpojumus, Latvijas iedzīvotāju attieksmi un informētības pakāpi (zināšanas) par
ieguldījumu fondiem Latvijā un izstrādāt priekšlikumus atklāto ieguldījumu fondu darbības
pilnveidošanai. Darbā raksturoti finanšu ieguldījumu veidi, veicot teorijas izpēti un dažādu
ekspertu komentāru analīzi, pētīti Latvijas ieguldījumu fondu veidi, darbība un pārvaldītāji,
veikts praktisks pētījums par Latvijas iedzīvotāju informētības līmeni par ieguldījumu fondu
iespējām, salīdzināta triju ieguldījumu fondu pārvaldītāju (Parex Asset Management, Hansa
Fondi un Baltikums Asset Management) piedāvājumi, lai sniegtu ieteikumus fondu darbības
pilnveidošanai.

Master paper „Analysis of investment funds registered in Latvia”. The aim of the paper is to study the investment funds in Latvia, their activities, offered services, attitude of population in Latvia and their awareness (knowledge) level about investment funds in Latvia and to develop proposals for improvement of open investment fund business. The paper provides description of types of financial investments, prepared on the bases of theoretical study and analysis of expert comments, includes research on types of the investment funds in Latvia, the activities and administrators as well as includes practical study on awareness level of population in Latvia about the services of investment funds. The paper also gives comparison of the offers by three different investment fund administrators (Parex Asset Management, Hansa Fondi and Baltikums Asset Management), in order to provide proposals for improvements of fund activities.
