Abstract
Šajā pētījumā tiek izvērtēts vai un kādā veidā emocijas, ko tulkojot jūt tulks, ietekmē tulka spēju uztvert, saprast un adekvāti pārtulkot oriģinālo runu. Lai to noskaidrotu, tik apzināti zinātnieku uzskati par emocijām, to definīcijas un veidi kā attiecīgās emocijas ietekmē cilvēka uztveri, domāšanu un darbību. Darba praktiskajā daļā tika intervēti 10 tulki, lai noskaidrotu vai viņi ir jutuši noteiktas emocijas tulkošanas laikā, kas izraisīja šīs emocijas un kā tās ietekmēja viņu darbu.
Pētījuma rezultātā tika noskaidrots, ka tulka emocijas ietekmē viņa darbu
This study was carried out to explore if and how emotions felt by the interpreter influence the perception, understanding (interpreting) and delivery of the meaning of the original message. In order to find this out, psychologists’ opinions on emotions, definitions of emotions and the ways emotions affect human perception, thinking and action were acknowledged. In the empirical part of the paper 10 interviews with interpreters were carried out in order to find out if the interpreters have experienced particular emotions, what caused them and how they influenced the work of the interpreters. The research showed that emotions do influence the performance of the interpreter.
