Abstract
Workplace health promotion and the significance of anthropometric data for ergonomic risk prevention of office employees. Dziedātāja N., supervisor asoc. prof. Dr. med. Roja Ž. Master thesis, 73 pages, 27 figures, 14 tables, 47 literature references, 6 appendices. In Latvian. The purpose of research is to analyze the existing theory of anthropometry and to focus on anthropometric aspects of ergonomics and to investigate how anthropometric data influences the designing of the office space regarding the prevention of ergonomic hazards. Repertory grids, Quick Exposure Check (QEC), Failure Mode and Effects analysis (FMEA), Psychological impact of the working environment analysis method were used in this research. Forms of analytical prototyping for human interfaces are also related with anthropometric approach in designing of office working spaces. Applying proper design means using dimensional criteria – anthropometric data - for developing design requirements for office spaces. ANTHROPOMETRY; HEALTH PROMOTION; ERGONOMIC RISKS; REPERTORY GRIDS; FAILURE MODE AND EFFECTS ANALYSIS; DESIGN; PREVENTION.
