Abstract
Maģistra darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 77 lappusēm, satur 19 attēlus, 15 tabulas un 81 literatūras avotu. Mērķis: novērtēt, antivielu pret PGL un GAG izmantošanu, lai pētītu ar vecumu un glaukomu saistītās izmaiņas RND un blakusesošos audos. Darba uzdevumi: vizualizēt PGL un GAG svaigos un fiksētos audos, noteikt lokalizāciju un salīdzināt sadalījumu veca un jauna cilvēka audos.
Pētāmie audi: 2 acis ar svaigiem un 3 acis ar fiksētiem audiem.
Metode: netiešā imūnfluorescence. Rezultāti: antivielas strādā uz svaigiem audiem, lietošanai uz fiksētiem prasa optimizāciju. Starp veca un jauna cilvēka audiem tika novērotas kvalitatīvas atšķirības imūnkrāsošanā. Secinājumi: metode ir lietojama PGL un GAG vizualizācijai un pētīšanai cilvēku RND un sklērā.

Results: antibodies worked well on unfixed, for fixed need to be optimized. Qualitative differences in immuno-labeling between young and old tissues were observed.
